- What cities do you serve?
- We serve Boulder, Broomfielf, and Longmont. We live in Lyons and
work mostly in and around Lyons: Pinewood Springs, Spring Gulch, and
Estes Park.

- How much do you charge?
- The cost varies depending on what needs to be cleaned and the state
of the home. We typically charge $85-$125 for whole house cleaning.
First time Deep Cleaning is generally more expensive. You could
alternately choose to have us deep clean half the house the first time,
and the rest of the house the following time.

- Will you send different people to my place?
- We will always try to send the same person to your place since s/he
would be familiar with you and your needs. Neatniks operates without
employees, so you will be assured that only one of the owners will be
cleaning your home. We are more highly motivated than employees to
surpass your satisfaction.

- What supplies do you use?
- We look for supplies that are non-toxic, bio-degradable and
effective. Our most used cleaner is made by us with essential lavender
or citrus oil, rubbing alcohol, vinegar, and a few drops of natural dish
soap. Making our own natural spray is more time consuming than its toxic
peers, but we use it because the human and environmental health cost is
lower.

- Why use “Green Cleaning Supplies”?
- If you go to your cupboard and pick up a cleaner, any cleaner, you
might see it contains chlorine, phenol, ammonia or formaldehyde.
These—and more—may be toxic: According to the US Environmental
Protection Agency, the air inside a typical home is, on average, 2 to 5
times more polluted than the air just outside – and in extreme cases 100
times more contaminated – largely because of household cleaners. Run-off
from these chemicals is also a major issue for our watersheads. Most
poison exposures are suspected to be from household products.

- Neatniks was the original Eco-friendly cleaning company in Boulder
County, long before it was fashionable. And since we use these products
all day, Karen and I would prefer that not only is your home less toxic,
but that we aren’t surrounding ourselves with these chemicals.

- Is Neatniks a franchise?
- No, the owners are the cleaners in the business.

- What about Holiday gratuities?
- We are not expecting gratuities but would be happy to receive them
if you choose.

- What about payment?
- Clients usually leave a check on the counter. If they forget, then
they can leave it for us next time.

- Do I Have To Be Home When Neatniks Cleans?
- This is your option. Most people prefer to be at work or out running
errands, to come back to a peaceful sparkling home. Most of our clients
either provide us a key or the garage code, hide one on the premises or
leave a door unlocked on cleaning day if they can not be home.

- Do You schedule a specific Time for My House Cleaning
Appointment?
- Neatniks will schedule a specific day and either a morning or
afternoon time slot.

- Do I Need to Provide House Cleaning Equipment or Supplies?
- We provide all cleaning supplies, so you never need to worry about
replenishing your stock for us. Of course if you have a specific product
you have that you want us to use, we will be happy to use it.

- We are very experienced, use a checklist made at the time we bid
your house to ensure that our service is provided comprehensively every
time. Our business is centered on satisfying you, the client. We know
that you hire a housecleaner so that you can focus on the things you

provider or are considering using one for the first time, Neatniks
Cleaning will take care of all your cleaning needs and get the job done
Your way! We clean blinds, ledges, corners and edges. If you hire us,
your baseboards will never be dirty. If you choose us, your doors will
always be clean. Hire us for cleaner shower corners and surrounds.
Smudges on sliding doors and appliances are cleaned and shined. Cobwebs
and dust removed and all surfaces cleaned.

- Do you have a Mission?
- Neatniks Mission is to promote healthy homes along Boulder’s front
range by delivering a superior residential cleaning service.

- How do you give me a bid?
- One of the owners, Karen or David, will meet you and your spouse at
your home at a time convenient to you, for about 15 to 45 minutes.
During the visit, we find out what you want done (and not done), walk
through each room, and answer any specific questions you may have. Once
we’ve established the scope of the assignment, we give a quote for the
first-time Deep Clean, and also the rate for our regular whole house
cleanings. We know we need to earn your business each time and don’t ask
for a contract for services.
