- How much are the dues?
- The Society operates on a Cash or
Pay–As–You–Go basis.
- At
each meeting or event, all attending members are expected to pay an
amount to cover the direct costs of that meeting, including the cost
for their guests. This usually runs between $7.00 and $10.00 per
person for our potlucks.
- At
each meeting or event where expected and future expenses are approved,
all attending members are expected to pay an amount to cover their
share of these expected costs. Following the meeting, the Treasurer
contacts all members not present with an invoice for their share.

- Why doesn't the Society use "Roberts Rules of Order"
as a meeting guide?
- Since we are a group of people attempting to provide a better
Santa Claus experience for children, it is in our interest to see
that we conduct ourselves to follow the models of Santa Claus and St.
Nicholas in our own behavior and conduct.
- Therefore, when making
decisions that affect our group, we strive to reach a consensus
of agreement. We realize that though this may require a longer
process, the result will be a win-win rather than a win-lose.
- Consequently, every important decision we make as a group
requires a minimum of two-thirds (2/3) majority of those present and
voting in
order to pass.
